Pauline Patricia Arena (nee Burns) "Pat", on April 21, 2024, of Woodbury, formerly of Blackwood. Beloved wife of the late Carl. Devoted mother of Brian, Ken (Kim), and Leslie. Loving grandmom of Carl and Krista. Daughter of late Herbert and Mary Burns. Sister of the late Virginia Marie, Herbert, Kathleen, Lawrence, and Doris. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pat spent her early working years at Bell Telephone. Her family later moved to Blackwood. She married her beloved Carl and together they raised a family and remained in Blackwood for many years.

Pat was very active with St. Jude Church and School, helping to teach grade school children to read. She later spent many years working for the Child Study Team at Audubon Public Schools. Pat enjoyed dancing, bowling, and music, especially Perry Como and Sam Cooke. She liked watching the Phillies and had a love of beagles. She joyously celebrated holidays and made the time special for her family and friends.

Viewing hours will be from 6 until 8pm on Thursday, April 25 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE and from 10am until 11am on Friday April 26 at Infant Jesus Parish - St. John Vianney RC Church, 2901 Good Intent Rd, Deptford, NJ. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday at Infant Jesus Parish - St. John Vianney RC Church. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
