Patricia C. Merlino (nee Boland) passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024. Age 70. Beloved mother of Kimberly Merlino and the late Ryan Merlino. Preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Alma Boland and loving fiance Joseph Dunn III. Also survived by Joseph Dunn IV and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Patricia worked for Del City as a school bus driver. Patricia was devoted to her children. She was a lover of all animals, especially dogs and cats and enjoyed visiting the local animal shelters. She had a love for arts and crafts and enjoyed attending craft shows in her free time. She always found joy in the simple things.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 4:00pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia's memory to the Animal Welfare Association 509 Centennial Boulevard Voorhees, NJ 08043

Sincere apologies to you and family we weren't there for you during Mom's services. I am certain with all my heart she will forever and never leave your side. I wish you sweet peace, dear Pat! You were the best sister to me, always kind, and gentle. I have fond memories of going to craft shows with you and talking on the phone for long periods of time. My heart broke when you lost your dear son, Ryan… a pain that no mother should have to endure. You are with your mother and son now and that makes me happy to think about.
You’ve raised a beautiful, strong, and caring daughter and you must be proud when you look down on her! I know she will feel your presence around her for the rest of her life!
