Joan M. Marcella, passed away on February 9, 2024. Age 84. Beloved wife of Philip Marcella Jr. for 64 years. Devoted mother of Joanne Henry (Joseph), Anthony Marcella (Gina), and the late Philip Marcella III. Loving grandmother of Philip (Stephanie), Kristin, Ryan and Lauren. Great-Grandmother of Ava, Philip, and Lilly. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter Moock and Stella (nee Wolski). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joan was a great wife and mother to her children. She had a passion for gardening, traveling, and loved to vacation at the Jersey Shore with her family. She found sheer happiness in the simple things in life like sitting on her deck. Throughout her life, Joan embodied kindness, compassion, and selflessness. She will be dearly missed.

There will be a viewing Friday, February 16, 2024 from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday from 9am to 10:15am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass will begin at 11am at St. Joachim Parish, Annuncation BVM Church 601 W. Browning Road Bellmawr, NJ 08031. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery.
