In Loving Memory of Uncle Cal.
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable soul who touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Uncle Cal, a beacon of love and kindness, peacefully left us at the age of 93.
As we reflect on his life, we remember a man who not only watched over us in our youth but remained a steadfast presence in times of need throughout the years. In the tapestry of my life, I have never heard a single negative word uttered about him.
A proud veteran who served in the Air Force, Uncle Cal dedicated his life to both his country and his family. During our childhood, he played the role of our Santa Claus, ensuring joy and laughter with thoughtful gifts for each of us—my three brothers, my sister, and me.
His love extended beyond blood, embracing my wife and sons with a warmth that will forever be etched in our hearts. Uncle Cal leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love, selflessness, and compassion that will be sorely missed.
In honoring his memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life that exemplified the true meaning of family and unconditional love.
Rest in peace, dear Uncle Cal. Your spirit will live on in the cherished memories we hold close to our hearts.
