Harriet J. Sponyoe of Clementon, NJ passed away on January 1st, 2024 at the age of 78. Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1945. Graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 1964. Worked as a deli clerk at Shoprite. She is survived by her children, Joseph Neil (Michelle) Sponyoe and Patricia Ann (Kenny) Sponyoe, grandchildren Valerie (Neil) Sponyoe, Victoria (Raúl) Sponyoe, and Veronica Sponyoe, and brother Michael (Phyllis) Curci. Preceded in death by Joseph F. Sponyoe (husband), Harry and Elizabeth Curci (parents), Ben Curci (brother) and Maria Cicalese (sister).
There will be a viewing from 10:00am until 11:45am on Friday, January 5 at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Jude Church, Blackwood. Funeral Mass 12noon at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Jude Church. Internment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Pennsylvania SPCA Philadelphia, PA 19134.

Harriet You are an amazing woman. You will always be in my heart and memories! My daughters are lucky to be your Granddsughters. They learned so much from you. I am lucky you were there for me and treated me like your daughter. You will live on forever through your family. I will miss knowing you are there for them. I also take comfort in knowing you and Joe are together looking out for them.
Harriet, you will be missed you. You were like my 2nd mom. I love you. Keep watching over all of us.
Harriet you were such a great person to know and I am so grateful that I got the pleasure of being friends with you. I am truly going to miss getting hugs from you even over a text message. I miss you so much but I know you are in a better place now watching over the ones that you love. Rest easy.
