James "Jim" John Dreyer, Jr., 84 of Blackwood, NJ passed away on October 28th 2023. James was born in Camden, NJ to James and Helen Dreyer Sr., grew up in Pennsauken, and graduated from Merchantville High School in 1957.

Beloved husband of the late Carol Dreyer (October 9, 2023).

Father to children Caroline (Pete) DiMattia, Mary Jane (Sal) Papa, and Helen Contos. Stepfather to Thomas Gladden, Jr. (Christine), Lisa O'Connell, Dean Gladden, and Darren Gladden. Grandfather to Nicole, Anthony, Alicia, Colleen, Brad, Vincent, Courtney, Kelsey, Kristin, Ashley, Ryan, Alexis, Troy, Cheyenne, Nicholas, and Evan. Great-Grandfather to Natalee, Kristabella, Shane, Elijah, Mikayla, Blaire, Lilly, Olivia, and Leo .

Father to predeceased Catherine Neri (July 19, 2009).

Jim's career starting in bank processing where he held various titles before finally retiring at PNC in 2010. He was a Philly Sports Phanatic and knew everything there was to know about the 76ers, Eagles, and the Phillies. Jim was excited to see the Eagles finally win a Super Bowl in his lifetime but had more than a few words to say about the Phillies this year. He enjoyed going on cruises and taking trips down to Atlantic City with Carol. He also loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and attended their games and recitals to cheer them on. You could often find Jim relaxing in his favorite recliner, watching the games and all his favorite shows.

There will be a viewing from 9am-11am on Saturday, November 4th at Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede. Followed by a Funeral Service at 11am.
