Robert "Bob/Bo" Brian Kevin Shellock, age 63, of Gloucester Township, N.J., passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 25, 2023, after a difficult battle with heart disease.

Robert was born on May 13, 1960, to John and Phyllis Shellock in Camden, N.J., and raised in Stratford, N.J., where he played baseball and basketball in the local leagues.

Robert graduated from Camden County Vocational Technical School's Gloucester Township Campus in 1978. After graduation, he worked for United Engineers and was contracted by Dupont through his job at Allstates for more than 20 years.

Robert was passionate about music, so he followed his dream and opened CD Warehouse in 1997. Afterward, he ran a highly successful music business via eBay, for which he was proud to be a top power seller with a 100% rating.

In 1976, Robert met Dawn Dawley at a Peter Frampton and Yes concert. They married in 1983 and went on to have three children: Robin Brooke (Jason), Todd, and Ryan (Morgan).

He was a Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Phillies, and gave that love to his children. He enjoyed camping trips to Rhode Island and early morning crabbing adventures at his secret spot in Manahawkin, N.J., both of which he was later able to enjoy with his grandsons. He was a longtime attendee of the Philadelphia Folk Festival, and the tradition of attending is carried on by family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Thomas and Mark, and parents-in-law Fred and Anne. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren Justin and Nathan Krisch and Quinn Shellock, brothers Timothy and Terrence (Lynn), brother-in-law David (Ruth) and friends who became family.

A viewing open to the public will be held at Gardner Funeral Home (126 S Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, N.J. 08078) on Monday, October 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a short service to follow.
