CandleUncle Gary
Uncle Gary what a man
He’s a caring man who loved his family
Loved life and made you smile
He will always be remembered fondly
Keeping the family together he never failed
His giving heart he always shared

Always ready to lend a helping hand
Ready to hear our voice to give advice
There he is ready to support our stand
Always encouraging whatever the plan
Always remembered not forgotten
His sense of humor, sense of pride
Made you feel loved and cared for

His spirit will always remain alive
As each of us feel and hear
His voice, the voice we heard
The voice that gave us strength
Strength to become who we are
And so much more

Thank you, Uncle Gary,
For all the conversations we had over the years
and
Thank you for those conversations
That helped shape my life
I love you
Nephew Wayne

I have so many great memories of Gary. Laughing, joking and taking walks with him were some highlights.

One memory that really stands out is when me, my mom, Gary and Sean went to Ireland several years ago. Gary, Sean and I hiked the Cliffs of Moher. Gary was moving so quickly and having a great time listening to what I consider rink music. He had his 80’s music blasting through the green twists and turns as we walked and took in the gorgeous scenery. Nine miles later Sean and I were ready to sit down and Gary was still raring to go.

Gary was a charter member of the Wash Twp Educational Foundation, and was responsible for raising thousands of dollars for our school district. A dear friend, Gary was always there when he was needed. He was the chairman of the annual golf outing, which was one of his many shining achievements. RIP my friend...Charlie Doud

Gary was a gentleman and one of nicest human beings I knew. I am proud to call him my friend. I met him through Rotary. We played many rounds of golf together. Took a few vacations together. He always asked about my children even as this condition worsened. Brad and Kevin your dad was so proud of you. I will miss him. Love you my PGF. Till we meet again.
