James W. Carle, Sr., "Jim", of Bellmawr and Mickleton, passed away on March 20, 2023. Age 86.

Beloved husband of Joann M. Carle (nee Bauman). Devoted father of James W. Carle, Jr. (Gidget) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, William A. Carle, Sr. (Maria) of Barrington, NJ, Joseph P. Carle (Marianne) of Surprise, AZ, and the late Daniel C. Carle and former wife Carol Tohanczyn Carle. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Stephen (Kelsi), James G, Julie, William A. Jr., and Megan. Loving great grandfather to Kenzie and Callie. Dear son of the late William A. and Adaline R. (nee Angelo) Carle.

Jim was the former co-owner and operator of Delaware Valley Soda & Bulk CO2. He also worked as a funeral assistant at Gardner Funeral Home. Jim was very active in the community as a member of the Lions Club for over 40 years and the Knights of Columbus. He was also active with the Men of Malvern, both as a Retreatant and as a former C.A. Captain of the Our Lady of Lourdes Group of Men of Malvern Retreat House.

There will be a visitation from 8:00am to 10:00am Saturday, April 1, 2023 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Memorial Mass 10:30am at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, Bellmawr.

Interment is private at the request of the family.
