James J. Stinsman, Jr., on January 11, 2023, of Blackwood, NJ; formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Age 85.

Beloved husband of Patricia Stinsman (nee Wilson) for 64 years. Devoted father of James Stinsman, III (Lynette), Patricia Steiner (Christopher), and William Stinsman. Loving Pop of Jimmy, Rachel, Susan, Megan, Katie, Becky, and Andrew and great grandfather of 13. Dear brother of Catherine Sullivan, Francis Stinsman, Marie Naughton, and the late Rose Nelson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

James proudly worked in Law Enforcement for over 40 years in Philadelphia as well as the NJ Division of Criminal Justice, the Camden County Prosecutors Office, and as an instructor at the Camden County Police Academy. He was a member of FOP Lodge #5 in Philadelphia.

James loved going to The Shore and enjoyed spending time with his family.

There will be a viewing from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Memorial service 1pm at the funeral home. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www.stjude.org.
