Marie "Sue" P. McCarville (nee Miller), on January 7, 2023, age 75, passed peacefully at home in Somerdale, NJ surrounded by her adoring family.

Marie was originally from South Philadelphia. Beloved wife of James F. McCarville. Devoted mother of Susan Murray (James), Patricia Deegan (Joseph), James McCarville (Angela), and Colleen McCarville. Loving grandmother of Michael Sylvester (Ashley), Ryan Murray (Missy), Krista Murray, Jenna Murray, Joseph Deegan, Sarah Deegan, Patrick Deegan, Christian McCarville, and Derek McCarville. Dear sister of James Miller (Bernadette), Joseph Miller (Andrea), Kathy Bersani (Jeff) and the late Edward and Thomas Miller. Also survived by sisters-in-law Nancy Miller and Annette Miller and many nieces and nephews.

Marie loved her family unconditionally and nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren. She spent her later years employed by Bancroft Neuro Health and The Children's Home devoted to providing support for children and adults with disabilities. Marie enjoyed many hobbies and loved the outdoors. Hiking and running were two of her favorite past times. She trained and completed the Broad Street Run in 2011 at the age of 63. Marie lived her life as a devout Catholic as demonstrated by her endless love and kindness.

There will be a viewing from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Thursday, January 12, 2023 and from 9:00am to 10:15am Friday, January 13, 2023 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.

Funeral Mass 11am Friday at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.

Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
