George Edward Martell Jr., at the age of 73, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. His passing was sudden and unexpected. Despite heroic efforts to save him, his heart could not sustain life. It was his time to join the ancestors. His transition followed closely to the energy of the Winter Solstice, which is no surprise to those of us lucky enough to be part of his life circle. George was a Psychiatric RN and worked for Kennedy Health System for 30 plus years; after which he enjoyed retirement. His legacy lives on in the thousands of children he saved from chaos. He was a great nurse and mentor. George was a member of Sosyete du Marche. He was a believer in magick and was one with nature. He was a healer who not only loved and cared for family and friends but also loved and cared for animals. George especially enjoyed traveling the world with his beloved wife, Connie. He was a fossil fanatic, a collector of many treasures, a lover of music, and open-faced turkey sandwiches at the diner. George taught others that energy only transfers and never really ceases. Since he is now a beloved ancestor, we can experience his spark of life within our hearts. We will remember him for his kindness to others, for the greatness of his love and for the magick he shared.

He is survived by his wife Connie. Children Nathaniel (Shelley) and Gwen (Octavio). Stepchildren Ronald Jr., Cheryl (Patrick) and Justin. Sisters Jeanne (Dean) and Julie (Wayne). Grandchildren Cyndal, Bella, Hazel Abby, Genni, and her brother Charles, and bonus Landon.

A celebration of George's life will take place at Connie's residence on Saturday May 6th from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm.
