Margaret Mary Connelly (nee Smith), on December 29, 2022, of Mt. Laurel. Age 91. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Connelly. Devoted mother of Thomas Connelly (Paula) of Landisville, PA; Gerard Connelly (Amy) of Pittsgrove, NJ; Mariann Gilbride (Jim) of Cherry Hill, NJ; Marge Obarski (Bob) of Cherry Hill, NJ; Patricia Drnach (Hank) of Pittsburgh, PA; and Hugh Connelly (Diane) of Shamong, NJ. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Alfred Smith (Joan) and Theresa Allen (the late Bob).

Margaret was a member of the Runnemede Seniors Club and the St. Maria Goretti Choir, RCIA, Alter and Rosary Society, and Parish Council. She was a graduate of St. Hubert's High School in Philadelphia, PA and was an avid seamstress. Marge retired from the Runnemede Police Department as an Administrative Assistant.

There will be a viewing from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday, January 3, 2023 and from 8:30am to 9:30am Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10am Wednesday at St. Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 321 Orchard Avenue Runnemede, NJ 08078. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
