It is with great sadness her daughters announce the passing of their beloved and wonderful mother, Darlene on December 5, 2022 at the age of 76. They are heartbroken beyond belief to lose someone so loved and cherished. Darlene was one of the strongest, most courageous, bravest and kindest women, who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who had faced many challenges in her life with great courage and dignity. She was a source of inspiration and a true role model who her daughters always looked up to. Her daughters were so very blessed to have her not only as a mother, but also as their biggest cheerleader in life. She was also a special Aunt, who was like a second mother to her nieces; Debbie, Laura, Diane, and Michelle. Darlene will be deeply missed by all those who's lives she touched.
Darlene was predeceased by her parents Lewis and Viola (Helmes) Beck. A sister Viola "Dolly" Roberts, her son Larry Renn, her beautiful niece Debbie and her special rock "Aunt Ethel", and her companion Joe Hutchinson.
Darlene is survived by her daughters Sherri Renn (Bob), and Tanya Renn, along with her grand fur-babies Tiffany Anne, and Silly Man. Surviving are many other family members including her predeceased sister's daughter's (Debbie Gartland) husband Chris and their children who are great nephews; Kyle, Kevin, Cody, Collin, and Cole. Also surviving is a wonderful stepmother Stefanie Gartland (Chris), Camila Debra Gartland, Connor Gartland, Laura (Mike) Lynch and great nephews Michael, Cory, Damien and Shael. In addition, surviving is her niece Diane (Raul) Diaz, great nephews Ryan, Robert and Randy, and her niece Michelle. She's survived by her niece Amanda and great niece Grace Marie, and nephew Eddie, who affectionately referred to Darlene as Mom-Mom. Darlene is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

In Darlene's early years, she enjoyed growing up in Audubon, N.J. playing with her cousins and getting into a lot of mischief. Later in life, Darlene enjoyed spending family time with her cousins and reminiscing about the good old days and catching up with what's going on in everyone's lives. Darlene retired from the state of New Jersey after 26 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed staying in touch with her friends Barb and Helen from work and going to special events with fellow retirees. Darlene enjoyed spending time with her daughters, whether it was going fishing, shooting pool, singing and dancing, or just cheering them on during sporting events. Darlene also enjoyed going to music concerts, especially country. One of her favorite concerts was Cher with the Village People. She especially loved going to "Jay-Day" in Wildwood at Gateway 26 Arcade to play poker and ride the tram-car.
Darlene enjoyed being around her family. She especially loved visiting with her nieces and great nephews in different states. So many wonderful memories and good times were made on those trips. She had a great sense of humor and a big personality that will be missed more than words could ever express.
Darlene spent many wonderful years with Joe, who affectionately called her "Queenie." They often took rides with his dog Cesar, and along the drives he would sing the song On the Way to Cape May (I Fell in Love With You) to her. Joe was an avid dart player and Darlene would often accompany him to his dart tournaments and banquets. Joe's favorite song to play for her was Stevie Wonder's I Just Called to Say "I Love You".
Cremation and a private family interment are planned at Darlene's request. In lieu of flowers donations in Darlene's name can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Mom,
There are no words that could ever express how lost I am without you! You were my whole world and now I have to figure out how to go on without you by my side. I was always so happy to come home from work or wherever I had happened to be just to see your smile and feel the love you had for me. You were my ride or die❤️ I can not imagine this life without you 💔 Till we meet again mom, know that there will never be a minute in a day that I don’t think about and miss you with my whole heart! I will love and miss you till the end of time😘
