James J. Lese, Jr, passed away suddenly on April 27, 2022, of New Bern, NC, formerly of Bridgeton, NJ. Age 70.
Loving husband of Marian (nee Hart, deMers). Devoted father of Gene deMers (Lisa), James J. Lese, III, Nicole Niblic (Paul), Lauren Ayon (Oliver). Beloved grandfather of Taylor Caballero (Jorge), Brielle deMers, Isabella Niblic, Cole Niblic, Lucy Ayon and great-grandfather of Jorge Caballero, III. Dear brother of Joyce Maslosecki (Al), Joseph Lese and the late John Lese. Son of the late James and Phyllis Lese. Also survived by his faithful companion and partner in crime "Diesel."
There will be a visitation from 4pm-6pm Thursday, May 5, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Memorial service 6pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Gene and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. JJ was an inspiration to all who want to start their own businesses. He was never afraid to take a chance, from the Roller rink to the bar. He showed that the American dream can be achieved if you work hard. There are no words to relieve your anguish at this time , but I pray that you find comfort in the memories and times you spent as a family.
