Gloria M. Bates passed on March 13, 2022. Of Gloucester City, formerly of Camden. Age 86. Devoted wife of the late Harry Bates, Jr. Loving mother of Lorraine Bates, Kim Naylor, Dawn Ratkowiak (Eddie), Mark Bates, Patricia Foster (Robert), the late Debbie Bates, Kathy Sager, Lisa Verderame, and Harry Bates, III. Dear mother-in-law of Jerry Verderame. Beloved grandmom of 16, great grandmom of 30, and great great grandmom of 5. Gloria worked for Camden Board of Education as the Community School Coordinator. Gloria's happiest times were those spent with her family. There will be a viewing Saturday morning March 19, 2022 from 9 to 11 am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 11 am at the funeral home. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
