Although our deeply abiding love for him has not, Anthony "Tony" Ruggieri, 87, of Blackwood, NJ passed away quietly on Saturday, January 15, 2022. A loyal friend, a devoted father, an avid sports fan- Pop, we miss you already!
He is survived by his spouse, Paula Ruggieri, his children Louise Root, Judy Ruggieri (Fred Miller), Laura Fiorentino (Jeffrey J. Fiorentino), and Vincent Ruggieri (Cynthia Ruggieri) and his adoring grandchildren, Daniel, Anthony (Kate), Eric (Elizabeth), Sydney, and Nicholas (Hollie). Tony was also an exceedingly proud great- grandfather of Kayla (Jake), Skylar (Zach), James, Emma, Ellie, and Ean, and a lucky great-great grandfather to Marlena, Maci, and Alisha.
Services are private at the request of the family.

Prayers to Tony and his family. Many of us played softball on Sunday with Tony. He went to South Philly every Sunday morning and brought back a big bag of cannolis for us to share. He was fun to be around.

I'll always remember Tony for his calm (mostly) approach to everything. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to the entire family. The world is a less joyful place without him.
