To a beautiful, kind, funny, intelligent loving man. His love of music, sports and enjoying time with family and friends. Growing up in Bellmawr where he had many friends. He grew up following Villanova Wildcats and until he passed. He would make people laugh with his great sense of humor. And would cry watching the Flinstones, he always said. Our love for each other will always be my only true soul mate. I will love you forever Ward, Eddie, Swifty, Meat, Potato Head, and my fav to you was Bubbie. I wish I could hold you forever. Love you!💚

True New Love! My Eddie💚

Ward was a very important person in my life. He was my next door neighbor and best friend when we were kids. He was very energetic, always upbeat and full of ideas. He was generous with his things and with his spirit. He was impossible not to like. I was the introvert and Ward (the name he went by as a kid) was the extravert. A lot of who I am today is the result of having a friend like Ward. He pushed me to sign up for things with him like our town (Bellmawr) sports teams. He was the better athlete. He was an amazing Short Stop. He made me appreciate the importance of style. Ward talked me into going into the Horses Head and buying bell bottoms :-) If you are my age and lived in Bellmawr you remember that store.
He attempted to help me learn to talk to girls. I was awful, I thought Ward was cool. He was fearless. Ward was honest to a fault, he wore his emotions on his sleeve. He was a real person. As real as anyone could be. I loved the guy. I was always welcome in his house and his door was always open. The Swifts were great neighbors.
As we got older I didn't stay in touch with him as much as I wanted to. We would connect only briefly once in a while. But even with that I thought of him all the time. Ward will always be ever present for me.
