Mary Battista, on September 8, 2020, longtime resident of the Vineland Developmental Center. Age 60.
Dear daughter of Ruth (nee Bond) and the late Daniel. Cherished aunt of Jennifer Black, great aunt of Jacqueline Phillips and Jon White, and great great aunt of Jeremy and Jameson White. Loving sister of the late Susan Black and Anita Battista.
Mary loved bowling, shopping, day trips, listening to music, her dolls, ice cream, and pudding. She was nicknamed "The Housekeeper" because she enjoyed reorganizing.
There will be a chapel service 2:30pm Thursday at New St Mary's Mausoleum, 515 W. Browning Road Bellmawr NJ 08031.
The family requests no flowers.

I am sorry to learn of Mary's passing. I never met her, but knew of her through her older sister, Susan. Susan, may God rest her soul, and I would compare stories about growing up with challenged younger siblings. We were a great support to one another, and we loved our younger siblings more, if it was possible, because they held such a special place on our hearts. Please accept my condolences for your lose.

It had been many years since I last saw Mary and really did not know her well but we did remember her and spoke about her from time to time. As our cousin she was loved and will always stay in our memories and prayers.
