John W. Garvey Jr. on June 15th, 2020 of Austin, TX; formerly of Runnemede, NJ. Age 55.
Beloved son of Jean Abendschein and the late Gene Abendschein. Father of Alyssa, and son of John Garvey Sr. Brother of Jean Garland (Randy), Shawn Garvey, and Bryan Abendschein. Survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Jack.
John was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan. He loved to have a good time and had a very big heart. John was always willing to help someone. He served his country via the United States Navy.
Rest in peace, John. You will forever be loved and missed.
There will be a visitation held on Sunday July 19th, 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Gardner Funeral Home, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.

John loves to sing karaoke. He sang a few songs and got a standing ovation after each one. The rest of the night we spent dancing with eachother. This is was one of my favorite memories with John.
My dear friend John- I miss you every second of every day. I cherish each moment we spent together and every memory we made. We had so many places we wanted to someday go and I will reach our destinations as I hold you forever in my heart and eternally in my soul.

To my first born son, John. I'm not supposed to be writing comments to you. You're supposed to be writing them to me. It's very difficult to see a child go before yourself, but as we would say, "It's in God's hands." I miss our daily calls already. I'm still in shock because I had no idea, especially for much we talked, that this could happen . I suppose you didn't want me to worry which is very selfless and
thoughtful.
I know heaven just got another angel and you'll be watching over all of us. You were always so positive and also a great friend and a loving, caring son. May you rest in peace and you'll always be remembered and love. That, I can be sure of!!
