Anthony E. "Tony" DeSantis, on May 17, 2010, of Runnemede. Age 79.


Beloved husband of 56 years Florence (nee DiLuzio). Also survived by his children Edward, Donna Collins (Terry) and Paula Duray (Lt. Col. Chuck). Proud Pop Pop of Nicholas, Amanda and Alexandra DeSantis, Brooks Collins and Joshua, Matthew and Samantha Duray.


Tony was born and raised in West Philadelphia. He graduated from St. Thomas More High School in 1949 and Pierce Business School. He served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War and four years in the inactive reserves. Tony was a partner in the DeSantis Ceramic Tile Company. He was a member of the Stetser-Lamartine American Legion Post #281 and the Runnemede Senior Citizens Club. Tony was Parade Marshall of the Runnemede 4th of July Parade from 1975 to 1990. Tony is also survived by many extended family members and friends.


There will be a viewing from 8:15 to 10:15am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 11am at St. Maria Goretti RC Church, Runnemede. Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr.
