Burton E. Weed, on May 16, 2010, of Haddon Heights, formerly of Oaklyn.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty Jane" (nee McMichael). Devoted and beloved father of Pastor Lawrence, Sr. (Irene), Carolyn "Babe" Weed, Elizabeth "Jane" Davidson (Albert), Eric Weed, Maryann "Mimi" Knox, Nancy Di Gioia (David), and James (Gerri). Loving grandfather of Barbara Lori (Pastor Steve Ritchey), Lawrence, Jr., Christy Kraft (Carl), John, Joshua (Jamie), Jeremiah (Ana), Josiah (Nicole), Joanna, Joel, Ryan, James, Lindsay, Kyle, Anthony, Sophia, Andrew, Rebecca, and great-grandfather of 9. Brother of Betty May Kibblehouse, and the late Ralph. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Burton was a Navy Veteran of WWII and received the purple heart. He was a former member of the Oaklyn and Bellmawr Fire Company. He also coached Oaklyn Little League. He was the former owner of the Club Diner for 54 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 9 pm and Friday morning from 10 to 11am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
