John P. Rocco, on January 25, 2013, of Bellmawr, formerly of South Philadelphia. Age 86.


Beloved husband of Antoinette (nee Racobaldo) of 59 years. Loving father of Mary Spaeth (Edward), Grace Rocco, John Rocco (Janice) and Phillip Rocco (Sandy). Devoted grandfather of Justin & Phillip Spaeth, Ghislaine Cormier, Alexandra Rocco-Santos (Tony), Johnny Rocco and Phillip, Andrew & Marissa Rocco. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.


John's greatest joys were baking his famous apple cake, sudoku, horse racing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. John served as a M.P. in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for many years at the U.S. Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11am Wednesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral service 11am Wednesday at the funeral home.


Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery, Williamstown.
