Danny Joe Scott, on August 14, 2010 of Runnemede. Age 73.

Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Lamanteer). Loving father of Tony Scott (Andrea), Danny Martin (Melody), Lori Reynolds (Gary), Gina Bowne (Bill) and the late Todd Scott. Devoted stepfather of Greg Gardiner, Kevin Gardiner (Patti), Lisa Rebel (Bill), Jimmy Gardiner (Jill) and Melanie Lesher. He was the grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of 13. Dear brother of Jeanette Cole.

Dan was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a man for everyone, who gave so much to so many. He was born February 28, 1937 in Kershaw, South Carolina. Dan attended Wingate College, North Carolina. He served on a mine sweeper in the Mediterranean for the U. S. Navy. He became a federal employee with the U.S. Postal Service in Runnemede and at the same time served as a volunteer fireman. Still wanting to serve his fellow towns people, he became a police officer for the Borough of Runnemede. He served fairly and gallantly for 28 years. He will be loved and in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 7 to 9pm Thursday evening and from 10 to 11am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 11am Friday at the funeral home. Interment Bethel Cemetery, Hurffville.
