L. James "Jim" Mutchler, Jr., on May 20, 2010, of Runnemede. Age 93. Survived by his wife of 64 years Eleanor (nee Price). Father of Scott Mutchler and the late John Mutchler. Father-in-law of Barbara Mutchler. Brother of Jane, Emma, Florence and the late Maude and Thomas. Also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 


Mr. Mutchler was a former Scoutmaster for Troop #117 Boy Scouts of America for 40 years. He received Scouting's prestigious Silver Beaver Award. Mr. Mutchler was also a longtime member of the Runnemede Lions Club. Silver Beaver Award which is the highest Boy Scout award for workers. Runnemede Lions Club President 1984-85 & 1985-86; Received Appreciation Plaque from Kiwanis Club for dedicated work for the public in Runnemede; Given key to Runnemede January 1, 1996; award from Runnemede Bellmawr Glendora Rotary Club June 23, 1995; award from VFW post. 


There will be a viewing from 10am to 11:30am Monday morning at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 200 E. Browning Rd., Bellmawr, NJ 08031. Funeral Service 12 noon in the church. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
