Harry W. Schmidt, on November 4, 2013, of Bellmawr, formerly of Philadelphia. Age 87.


Beloved husband of the late Yolanda (nee Malandra). Devoted father of William Schmidt, Michael Schmidt (Danielle) and the late Carol Ann Sweeney. Loving Pop Pop of Carol Ann, Erica, Jessica and Steven and great grandfather of four. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.


Mr. Schmidt proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Signalman Third Class.


He was an active member of St. Joachim Parish and a member of VFW Post #9563, Essex Ave., Bellmawr.


Mr. Schmidt was also an avid sports fan, especially enjoying basketball and football.


There will be a viewing from 10 to 11am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home.


Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
