Harry J. Houston, Jr., on April 30, 2014, of Haddon Heights. Age 83.

Son of the late Harry J. Houston, Sr. and Florence Houston (nee Snyder). Beloved husband of Joan (nee Whitmore) with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Devoted father of Joan Houston Young (Jeffrey), Harry J. Houston, III and the late Dorothy Anne Houston. Loving grandfather of Zachary Alexandru Young and beloved father-in-law of Jeffrey Lee Young. Dear brother of Nancy Burke, David Houston (Judy) and the late Edward Houston. Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews around the country.

Harry retired from his nursing career in January, 1994 from the Camden County Health Services Center (Lakeland Complex) after almost 20 years of employment. Harry also worked at Cooper Hospital and the Camden City Jail.

There will be a viewing from 8:15 to 10:15am Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR.

Funeral Mass 11am St. Rose of Lima Parish, Haddon Hts.

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
