Nicholas "Fred" Keating, on April 16, 2011, of Somerdale. Age 76.


Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Costello). Proud and loving father of William Keating and his wife Shawnna and Michael Keating. Son of the late Margaret (nee Whelan) and Bernard Keating. Survived by sisters Margaret Lambe, Carol Cole and her husband John and sister-in-law Marie Keating. He is predeceased by brother John and sisters Helen Hofflinger and Kathleen Jane Patterson.


Fred was an International Accountant employed by Pennwalt - later known as Atochem; Arkema for 32 years. He was a lifelong member of the Newfoundland American Association. He enjoyed working to promote his heritage. Fred graduated from Camden Catholic High School and attended Rutgers University.


There will be a viewing Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and from 7 to 9pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


There will also be a viewing Wednesday morning from 8 to 8:45am at the funeral home.


Funeral Mass 9:30am Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Lawrence RC Church, Lindenwold.

Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
