Walter Burckhardt on July 20, 2013, of Lindenwold. Age 82.

Beloved husband of Josephine Burckhardt (nee DiGregorio) of 52 years. Devoted father of Elaine Landis (Kenneth) and Rick Burckhardt. Loving pop pop of Alicia, Eleanor, and Tiffany. Dear brother of Elizabeth McGee, and the late Frederick Burckhardt, Dorothy Joerger, William Burckhardt Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Walter proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received several medals, including a bronze star.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home.

Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
