Ethel M. Jones, on March 10, 2013, of Chews Landing. Age 97.


Beloved wife of the late Chief David R., Sr of Gloucester Township Police Department. Loving mother of Ralph Sr. (Ann) of Wellsboro, Pa, Robert Sr. (Barbara) of Venice, Fl and the late David R., Jr. and James R. Mother-in-law of Deborah Jones. Devoted grandmother of Lynne Ann Kriner (Scott), Sherry Reed (John), Ralph L. Jones, Jr. (Julie), Suzanne Glielmi (Armand), Joseph D. Jones (Julia) and the late Robert J. Jones, Jr and great grandmother of 14 and great great grandmother of 2. Dear sister of James Husted (Barbara) of Voorhees.


Ethel was a longtime member of Chews United Methodist Church. She worked for 20 years as the Cafeteria Manager at Glen Landing Middle School.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing form 10 to 11am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral service 11am Saturday at the funeral home.


Interment Chews Cemetery, Glendora.
