Frances A. Gavin, of Magnolia, NJ, passed in Vero Beach, FL on August 23, 2014. Age 95.

Frances was born to Peter and Amelia Karaskevicus who came to America from Lithuania in the late 1890’s. Frances was one of 9 children, 7 girls and 2 boys. Frances is the last of this loving family to pass.

Frances was raised and married in Philadelphia until she moved to Magnolia in 1949 with her husband Edward A. Gavin, who passed in 1975. They lovingly raised three children, Edward (Gail) of Sebastian, FL, Patricia Palmeiri (the late Alfred) of Magnolia, NJ, and Francis (Joanna) of Las Vegas, NV.

Frances enjoyed and loved when her family and extended family visited her at home. She had 11 grandchildren (one now deceased), and 22 great grandchildren (one now deceased) and 4 great great grandchildren. Frances loved watching birds and enjoyed traveling and visiting family and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and cheered for all the teams with enthusiasm.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Frances’ life with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa Church, 13 E. Evesham Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078 at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2014 and then proceed to Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 300 S. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.

In lieu of flowers, Frances would be happy with donations made instead to your favorite charity in her honor.
