Dennis E. McCormack, Sr., of Blenheim, formerly of Audubon, passed peacefully at home on January 21, 2013. Age 82.
Predeceased by his wife of 50 years Patricia (nee O'Neill). Loving father of Dennis E. McCormack, Jr., Patty Willingmyre (Harry), Karen Wright (John), Maureen Murphy (Dennis), Kevin McCormack (Sharon), Rosemarie Kot (Richie), Terence McCormack (Beth), Sean McCormack (Holly) and Anna Parks (Rich).
Also survived by his twin sister,
Sr. Maureen Dennis, IHM, 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. McCormack was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifetime member & Past Commander of American Legion Post #84 Oaklyn. He was also a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus and A.O.H. Past President.
Mr. McCormack was an extraordinary minister at Holy Maternity Church in Audubon and a representative for Camden County Division of Senior Services. He retired as Superintendent of Public Works in Audubon in 1992.
Mr. McCormack loved to travel. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
There will be a viewing from 6 to 8pm Sunday eve and 8:15 to 9:15am Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Mass 10am Monday at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church, Runnemede.
Interment Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
