Ralph Ernest Baker, on October 10, 2013, of Bellmawr. Age 84. Husband of Deloris K. (nee Hartman) for 64 years.


Father of Cheryl (Glenn) Conley of Oaklyn and David (Peggy Frey) of York, PA. Grandfather of Crisha Luttenberger, Corey Baker, Scott Conley, Eric Conley and Andrew Conley. Brother of Virginia M. Basehore of Elizabethtown, PA. Also survived by his 4 nieces, 1 nephew and 1 great-grandson. Son of the late Clyde L. and Clara M. Baker.


Ralph was in the Boy Scouts of America, earning the rank of Eagle Scout and two palms.


Ralph proudly served in the US Air Force from October 31, 1951 to September 30, 1961. He served in Korea as a ground controlled approach agent from April, 1953 to May, 1954.


Ralph retired after 43 years as a load planner with United Airlines in Philadelphia, PA.


He was a past member and President of the Cherry Hill Pine Barons barbershop chorus. He sang in the chorus and numerous quartets for approximately 50 years. Ralph participated with a quartet in an International Mens' Chorus Competition in Kaluga, Russia, winning first place. He traveled extensively in the United States, Europe, British Isles and portions of South America.


He was a 3rd° Mason and a member of Lodge #95 of F and AM.


Ralph attended Bellmawr Immanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church for 45 years.


There will be a visitation from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Bellmawr Immanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Park Drive and Market Street, Bellmawr, NJ 08031 followed by a Memorial Service at 12pm or check website at immanuelopc.org.


Interment private at the request of the family.
