Carmela M. Giacobbe (nee Argentina) on October 14, 2012 of Clementon, formerly of Pine Hill. Age 58.


Beloved mother of Louis Palazzo, Jr. (Amy), Nicholas Palazzo (Genevieve) and Carla Van Elsland (Justin). Loving grandmother of Kayla, Matthew, Olivia, Ryan and Sophia. Dear daughter of the late Maria Rosati. Loving sister of Phillip Argentina and the late Alberta Arasi and Chris Argentina. Carmela's best times were those spent with her family, especially those spent with her grandchildren.


She spent many years of her life as a nurse helping others, most recently at Voorhees Senior Living. She also enjoyed the beach and cooking.


Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 8pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Memorial Service Thursday evening 8pm.


Interment is private at the request of the family.


In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Carmela's memory to the Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 or to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
