Herbert L. May, on August 11, 2013, of Barrington. Age 96.


Beloved husband of the late Helen "Margaret" May (nee Flem). Loving friend and Companion of Vernetta Breon. Devoted father of Patricia Celli. Loving grandpop of Scott Celli, Dawn Wiatr (David), Todd Celli (Colleen) and Joy Kudla (Jeremiah). Great grandpop of Destiny, Gabriella, Mackenzie, Jacob and Jackie.


Mr. May proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of VFW Post #7247 of Barrington and a retired employee of the Philadelphia Inquirer.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Thursday evening from 7 to 9pm and Friday morning from 9:15 to 10:15am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Mass 11am Friday at Holy Child Parish, St Teresa's RC Church, Runnemede.


Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, Woodbury.
