Roseline C. D'Ippolito "Dolly", of Glendora, age 91, went home to the Lord on February 21, 2012. She was comforted during her last days by the staff of Vineland Veterans Memorial Home.
Dolly was the beloved Auntie of Marylyn Logan (John), Diane DeGiacomo (Ken) and Patti Booth (Bob). She is lovingly remembered by her great nieces and nephews Natalie Bara (Scott), Rob Booth, Adrienne Carr (Mike), Mike Booth and his fiancee Carly, Christopher Logan, Matt Logan (Annamae), Mae and Abigail Logan.
Dolly is predeceased by her longtime companion Mike Buonanno, her parents Camille and Mary (nee Camarote), her siblings William (Pat), Rita DiMascio (Willie) and Marie Dunbar (Jack).
A longtime resident of Glendora, Dolly was a devoted member of St. Teresa's RC Church, where she served in CCD classes, the Altar and Rosary Society, and voluntarily cleaned the church.
Dolly loved to bake, she loved the Phillies, Wildwood, Longport, South Philly, and to brag about the accomplishments of her nieces and nephews.
Born in South Philly, Dolly was a Sergeant with the Women's Army Corps during World War II. After a career in the clothing business, Dolly was a waitress in Cherry Hill's Diamond Diner, a position she held into her 70's.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dolly's viewing from 8:15 to 9:15am Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Her life will be celebrated at 10am Mass at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church, Runnemede.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests memorial donations be made to Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church, 13 E. Evesham Rd., Runnemede, NJ 08078.
