Dorothy M. Brown (nee McGarvey), on April 24, 2012, of Bellmawr. Age 74.


Beloved wife of the late James Brown. Devoted mother of James Brown, Jr. (Dianne), Sharon Davis and Michele Erskine (Bill). Loving grandmom of Christine, James, III, Ronnie, Kyle, McKenna, Noel and Kimberly. Great grandmom of Audrey. Dear sister of James McGarvey (Betty), Catherine Hosier (Edwin Albertson), Kathleen Smith (Bob) and Betty Ann Iavecchia (Dan Mesaros). Also pre-deceased by seven siblings.


Mrs. Brown was a member of the church choir and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.


There will be a viewing from 8:45 to 10:15am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Mass 11am at St. Rita of Cascia Parish, Mary, Mother of the Church, Bellmawr.


Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.


Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Brown's memory to Essia Nkwanta Teaching Hospital; Pediatric Center, P.O. Box 229, Sekondi, Ghana, W. Africa.
