Joseph E. Hagen was called to Heaven on October 13, 2012.

He was born on October 1, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA.


Joe was a devoted father and devout Catholic and parishioner of the St. Bridget Parish and many years of raising his family in Bellmawr, NJ; he resided in Glassboro, NJ for the past 30 years. Joseph is predeceased by his loving wife Mary C. (nee Grzegorczyk). He is survived by his sons: Joseph, Thomas (Lesley) and Gregory (Maria); his daughters: Mary Lou (Robert Davis), Patricia, Carol and Judy (the late Harry McNally); his grandchildren: Ryan Baker, Jimmy Carle and Harry McNally and Peter, Gregory, Michelle, Joseph, Lauren and George Hagen; his brothers, Larry Hagen and Rev. Father John Hagen.


Joe proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He also worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yard for 40 years. Joe was a coach in Bellmawr Little League and a member of Square Circle Gun Club in Gibbsboro.


Relatives and friends may visit the family at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, 601 Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ on Saturday, October 20th from 9am to 10:45am with a Funeral Mass following at 11am.


Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers Mass Cards would be appreciated.
