Joseph John Madden, Jr., on December 17, 2014, of Blackwood; formerly of S. Phila., PA. Age 68.


Beloved husband of 44 years to Julia (nee Pizzino). Devoted father of Joseph III (Sarah), David (Tiffany), and Lisa Marie. Loving grandfather of Gia, Jordan, and Joey IV. Dear brother of Rosalie Hawe, Nancy McGuire, Susan Stever, and Michael Madden. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.


Joseph proudly served with the USMC VM06 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post 7927 in Blackwood and American Legion Stetser-Lamartine Post 281 in Chews Landing.


There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Monday eve and from 9:15 to 10:15am Tuesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Mass 11am Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church, Coles & Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood.


Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
