Stephen M. Mendek, on February 10, 2014, of Hilltop. Age 94.


Beloved husband of the late Cora R. (nee Romano). Devoted father of Roe Jamison (Harry), Ginny Mooney-Goodman (Roger), Stephen J. (Janice), and the late William. Dear father-in-law of Patricia Mendek. Loving grandfather of William, Stephen, John, Tom, Phil, Mindy, Katie, and the late Timmy; great grandfather of 14 and great-great grandfather of one.


Stephen proudly served with the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of 3-H Senior Club, Always Young, Hider Lane Senior Club and an active member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church.


There will be a viewing from 10:45 to 11:45am Friday at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church Chapel, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.


Funeral Mass 12 noon in the Church.


Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
