Joseph P. Connelly, on July 1, 2013, of Runnemede. Age 75.


Beloved husband of Donna (nee Phillips). Devoted father of Anne Marie Papas (Joe) of Michigan, Joseph Connelly, Jr. of Michigan, Mary Rohas of California, Sean Connelly (Shirley) of Michigan, Colleen Connelly of California, Lorrie Short (Jason) of Michigan, Dennis R. Gibbons (Karen), Brenda M. Esher, Lynda R. Heucksteadt (Gary) of Michigan, and the late Thomas M. Gibbons. Also survived by his beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of James Connelly, John Connelly (Ann) of Hollywood, Florida and the late Joan Bonaventure, Robert Connelly and Daniel Connelly. Loving son of the late Mary (nee Robinson)and James Connelly.


Mr. Connelly attended Haddon Heights High School. He served in the US Air Force. Mr. Connelly retired from Campbells Express in Pitman, NJ.


He was the President Emeritus and a long time member of the Runnemede Fire Company and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Friday morning from 8:30am to 11:15am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Mass Friday 12noon Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, Runnemede.


Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
