Stephen J. Faust, on September 20, 2014, of Barrington, age 91.


Beloved husband of Claire (nee Peterson). Devoted father of Patricia Dutkiewicz (Ken), Rosemarie Bandiera (Ken), William N. Faust (Maria) and Mark A. Faust. Loving grandfather of Shayne Dutkiewicz, Kyle Dutkiewicz, Jeannine Pucylowski (Jason), Kristen, Lauren and Emily Faust, and the late Matthew Bandiera. Dear great grandfather of Olivia Pucylowski. Brother of Julia Waechter and the late Margaret Welmerick, William Faust and Howard Faust. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.


Mr. Faust was a WWII veteran who was a sergeant in the Army Air Force and served as a tower operator in the South Pacific.


His was a life well lived in service of fellowship to men and women in the South Jersey area for many years.


He was a master carpenter who specialized in home remodeling. After retirement, he was "PopPop" the babysitter for three of his granddaughters during their formative years.


He was a Charter Member of the VFW Post 8714, Glendora, N.J. He was a member of Men of Malvern, Laymen's Retreat League for many years serving as a recruiter, and was a member of St. Francis DeSales Parish in Barrington.


He will be greatly missed by all those he helped, and who knew, respected and loved him.


Family and friends may attend the viewing from 6 to 8 pm Sunday evening and 9 to 10 am Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Mass 11 am Monday at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Haddon Heights.


Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
