Arthur C. Payne Jr., of Glassboro, on March 17, 2024. Age 89. Beloved husband of 70 years of Mary Payne (nee Osborn). Loving father of James A. Payne (Marion), Mary Romano (the late Rocco), Scott T. Payne, Betty Furphy (Patrick) and the late Robert J. Payne (surving wife Joyce) and David C. Payne. Devoted Grandpop of 10 and Great-Grandpop of 2. Dear brother of Margaret Ward and the late Katherine Doyle, David Payne, Russel Streaker, Virginia "Sissy" Hirschmiller. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Arthur was extremely proud of his work as a pipe fitter and welder with Local #322. He was a charter member of the Deptford Elks Lodge #2708. Arthur was the life of the party and loved enjoyed a good drink with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
There will be a Viewing on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and Thursday morning 10am to 11am. Funeral Service to follow at 11am. Interment, Bethel Memorial Park, 1620 Cove Rd, Pennsauken, NJ.
Donations in lieu flowers may be made in Arthur's Memory to the Tunnel's to Towers Foundation.

So sorry to hear of Arts passing certainly one of a kind. I had the pleasure of working with him over the years with out a doubt one of the funniest guys you could ever meet . His humor was contagious if he was on your job it was that much better! RIP my brother and thanks for everything Mike Robinson
