Alex Sawello on September 9, 2023. Age 74. Of Audubon, formerly of Newark, NJ. Devoted husband of Nancy (nee Deusch). Beloved father of Rochelle Willms (Thomas) and Christopher (Danielle). Loving pop pop of Madison, Zachary, and Blake. Cherished brother of James, Michael, and Annette DeRosa (Peter). Adored uncle of Stephanie, Pete, and Anthony.

Alex Performed with St. Lucy's Cadets from 1959 to 1969,
He also performed with Yankee Rebels, Archer-Epler Musketeers,
NY Skyliners Alumni, Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights Senior
and Alumni Corps, Reilly Raiders Alumni.
And of course, St. Lucy's Senior Corps 1975-1977 and St. Lucy's
Alumni since 2000. Alex was a drum instructor for the Cramer Hill Rough Riders and the Haddonfield Royaleers. He was also a member of the National Judges Association. Alex was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Cherry Hill Post 372.

There will be a viewing Saturday Morning September 16, 2023 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 11:30 am at the funeral home. Interment private.
