Dorothy Mae Capie (nee Donaldson), of Sicklerville, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2023.

Devoted and loving wife of the late Richard J. Capie, Sr. Devoted mother of Richard J. Capie, Jr., Kathleen Cheeseman, Robert Andrew, Carol Jean Simmons, and Sharon Lee Capie-Gibbs. Loving grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 28. Dorothy was the foster mother of William Motter and the late Thomas Clark and the late Tina Clark. Loving sister of the late Robert J. Donaldson, the late Mary Williams, the late Lillian O'Niel, and the late Charles K. Donaldson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a beautiful seamstress who made lovely clothing for family and friends. She was a devoted Christian who attended the Williamstown First United Methodist Church for many years, as well as the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Woodbine, NJ. She worked at Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton, NJ for 28 years.

There will be a viewing from 9am to 11am Saturday, January 28, 2023 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR, 200 S. Black Horse Pike, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.

Funeral service 11am at the funeral home.

Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
