Elaine Matteo (nee Simon), on December 31, 2022, of Glendora. Age 84.
Beloved wife of the late Augustine "Gus" Matteo. Devoted mother of Annella Mecouch and the late Carmen Crescenzo. Loving grandmother of Joseph Santulli (Nicole), Daniel Crescenzo, Nicholas Crescenzo (Lauren), Maria Jones, and Adam Crescenzo and great grandmother of Talia, Luna, Connor, and Gabriella. Dear sister of David Simon (Bridget), Maryann Verica (Stephen), and Diane Kelly (Robert). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 8:15am to 10:15am Thursday, January 5, 2023 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Mass 11am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, 13 E. Evesham Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
Entombment St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Chews Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elaine's memory to Holy Child Parish.

Matteo and Simon Family, I am so sorry to hear of Elaine's passing, Forgive me for not being there to pay my respects, I just found out tonight. I talked to her a few weeks ago and I'm so glad I got a chance to spend a little time with her on the phone. My prayers are with you and I share in your grief and loss.
