Henry William Lomas, 66, passed away suddenly on November 16, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ.
Henry was born on January 5, 1956 in Camden, NJ to Joseph and Mary Lomas.
Henry attended Magnolia Public School and Sterling High School graduating in 1974. Henry started his career in the residential heating and cooling business and was then accepted into the Philadelphia Sheet Metal Local Union 19 apprenticeship program in the early 80's. Henry worked for 40 years with several employers within the union, rarely missing a day's work. Henry was enjoying a well-deserved retirement.
Henry met his love, Eileen Hannigan, in the late 70's and they married on October 15, 1983 at the St. Denis Chapel in Havertown, PA. The couple had 2 children, Kimberly Accardo and Jack Lomas. They were his pride and joy.
Upon retirement, Henry could either be found working out at the gym, riding his bike, reading the newspaper, walking his dogs Missy & Penny, manicuring the yard and garden, cleaning his truck or helping someone fix something but his favorite activity was being PopPop to his grandbabies. Nothing brought him more joy.
Henry is survived by his spouse Eileen Lomas, children Kimberly Accardo (Mike) and Jack Lomas (Gaby), brothers Joe Lomas (Louise) and Jim Lomas (Elise), and his beloved grandchildren Dominic, Logan, Ellie and soon to be born Alex Henry Lomas. My heart is completely broken. I do not have one childhood memory that you were not a part of. One of my favorite times was being at 45th street in Sea isle. There was nothing better than a pot full of steamers and peel n eat shrimp. They are times I will always hold to close to my heart. You were truly the best and have left a hole in all of our hearts. Rest easy ❤️ Kelly
