Daddy this came up my Facebook memories and I showed mommy the picture yesterday when I bought her lunch. I love you Pop. I'm so lucky to have this guy as my daddy. He has and still is always teaching me things. He always worked hard to make sure everyone had clothes on their backs and food in their stomach. God couldn't have blessed me with a better father and I am thankful to have my entire family. They mean the world to me along side with my daughters. Happy father's day daddy! (Even though he doesn't use social media) I love you so much. Thank you for giving me life and always guiding me through it.

I am not a overly religious person but this came to me in the mail and I think it was my dad telling me he is in heaven and I have it sitting next to where I have your prayer card and the memory jar and where I will place your urn. I love you Pop

CandleDaddy I went to take mommy shopping and to work on the cars and I cried so much just sitting in your cars. I could still smell you and I just miss you so much. I still can't believe you are gone. I so thankful for being your daughter and for being able to be there for you when you needed me the most. I love you Pop

CandleTo Karen and the Bragg Family,
My family and i are very sorry for your loss. I am glad that I got to meet Mr. Bragg although we did not have much time to get to know each other. I appreciated the effort he put into making conversation with me even though he obviously was not feeling the best. I could still see why your friends and family will miss you terribly. Sincerely, Nick Chiaravolloti and family

CandleDaddy you keep showing mommy signs that you are still with her and of your eternal love for her. I miss talking to you everyday and visiting you at the hospital. I will always remember the last time that I got to see you, it was at the hospital and they allowed Nick and I to stay for a little while while you while you were on dialysis. which they never allowed anyone to sit with you during your treatments. I remember always telling you "I love you Pop". I have been listening to mommy's stories of how when she first saw you when she was 16 and said to her friend "I am in love". All marriages have their ups and downs but you both were so dedicated to each other and us and your grandchildren and great grandchildren. I will never forget that phone call from mommy on the morning you passed away. We were not allowed to go to the hospital that day but at least me, Paige, Billy, Jimmy, Derick, and Nick and your neighbors were all at the house for mommy. Three out of the four of us were there to comfort mommy as she lost the love of her life. As I write this the radio has been playing so many songs that remind me of driving around with you in the car as I was growing up. I am so grateful that 3 out of your children stayed here to help mommy and to take you the things you needed and to help mommy. You were always dedicated to your children and me and my brothers stayed around especially in the last weeks of your life. I would never be able to leave my family and we got to help mommy with your funeral arrangements and Billy picked out what was put on your mass card which was the first one that stuck out to me. A good man never dies and I made a memory jar and have a place all set up for your urn so I can tell you how much I love you Pop everyday forever. I miss you but I know you are forever in my heart. I could never leave you and you were so happy to have visitors. I miss you more then words can say. You were the most amazing father and at least me and my brothers never left your side in the last few weeks that you and mommy needed us. I love you Pop

K Karen Marie on May 24, 2022

I remember when we were young he would come home from working at the navy yard and tell us kids he climbed so high on a pipe he saw Jack and the beanstalk. I remember him taking me food shopping and my job was to hold the coupons for what he bought for when we went to check out. I remember him giving us fresh strawberries from the garden while we were outside playing. I remember going with him to take my brothers, Jimmy and Billy to get their hair cut at his brother Larry's barber shop. I remember one time he took us all to the beach and on the way home our car overheated. I remember him telling me how much I looked like his mother, Betty that passed away before I was born and he had her picture as his screen saver for his cell phone. I remember him coming home from work and having dinner and heading out to his second job delivering pizzas in South Philly. I remember him taking us on New Years Day to his friends' house in South Philly every year. I remember him giving me a Credence Clearwater Revival tape for Christmas when I was 17 and he said "here Kar you will rock out to them" and I still do. I will always remember that at least he was home for his 48th wedding anniversary and my brothers, myself, and my daughters Paige and Jenna were all there to celebrate. I remember going to every hospital he was in and he would proudly introduce me to the nurses and his roommates. I will always remember him saying how much he liked Nick and him saying he is a decent guy. I cherish the fact I was there for him all the time in the last few weeks of his life. I gave him a tigers eye bracelet and he wore it proudly until his passing. I remember all of us being there for my mom the day he passed away and I looked down and a feather was at my feet, I picked it up and said "you have earned your wings Pop, I love you." The breeze picked up and then my mom got the call that he had passed away. I will keep that feather along with pictures of him next to his ashes and I still tell him "I love you Pop." He will be with me always

One of my first memories of my father was watching him walk through the door in his coveralls after a day at work. He watched me hit a homerun in softball and make a double play while playing first base. I remember him having me husk the corn he had grown. I always jumped to the opportunity to go shopping or driving anywhere with him. One of my other first memories was holding his hand while walking on the boardwalk. Aa I grew older, and he began working nights it was him encouraging me to work. So I got a paper route and then moved on to working with him at the cleaners, his 2nd job. When I moved out, I'd bring my children over to swim with my oldest niece Paige he raised. Then when Jenna came, (my younger niece he's been raising) my kids and I would visit and enjoy being outside in the backyard just chatting for hours.
My daddy is the most devoted family man I have ever known. He always looked at my mother with love in his eyes, even when she was upset with him. When he began dialysis, the kids and I went to be by his side. I sat for hours with him during the kidney transplant donor appointment to get all the specifics. But then he didn't Qualify to get a new kidney. My dad still worked. He was so devoted to my mother and niece Jenna he still worked until last month. He retired because he physically couldn't.
Daddy, you were the most dedicated man I know. You taught me nothing is dor free and you have to be persistent and strong and never say "I can't,." Because of you the phrase, "I can and I will." is what I live by. You taught me kindness, dedication, respect, and I am forever grateful for your guidance and showing me strength and endurance.
I don't know how to feel, but I'm going to press on and live my life in peace knowing that you are always with me. I love you. I miss you. I'm taking your legacy everywhere I go.
