George and I served together in San Miguel, Philippines, and enjoyed many a night at the Old West Club. We were as close as brothers, and he was a good man. I know he will be missed. O.C.B. forever, George. Trauty
Heartfelt condolences to the entire Holmes and Tomaino family Prayers for comfort and healing ♥️ we are never prepared to say goodbye. May his memory always be a blessing xox Sara Chwatt
I am very sorry for your loss. I hope that your memories through the years will provide comfort during this difficult time. The first time we met, Bill and I were heading to a Phillies game. Mr. Holmes was eager to meet me and when we saw one another on future occasions, he was always excited to see me and catch up.
Forever in our thoughts and prayers. Our sincere condolences to the entire family. Mike & Regina Canaris

Our family
Rest In Peace uncle George. My memory of him was his and aunt Lynn’s visit to Canada when I was in grade 7/8. We were at a park and talking about football. He zipped a pass to me like a cruise missile and I missed catching it and hit me you know where 😂. I pretended that I was ok when he asked but I was walking wobbly the rest of the afternoon! He’s a great soul and will be definitely missed by all. My prayers and condolences go out to aunt Lynn and your family 💜
Mary and I have known each other as work mates. For many years.. She always spoke of her deep love and enduring bond with her Dad. My heart goes out to the entire Holmes and Tomaino Family. May his memory be a blessing.
Prior memory was from my husband Art
George was always good to me. One of my best memories was watching the Eagles FINALLY win the super bowl at his house. RIP
George taught me how to drive a stick shift (actually laughed when I grinded gears) in his yellow Beetle. George taught me how to shuck & slurp raw oysters when the WHOLE family went to Chincoteague. But my #1 lesson would have to be how he showed me the importance of living a life of kindness and love. His generous nature was limitless. His love had no bounds. Your presence will be missed by all who knew you my brother, but the memories will be cherished til the end of time. Forever in my heart
I have worked with Mary for many years. She always spoke so highly of her Dad. She was a loyal and dedicated daughter. I am broken hearted for her deep loss. My sympathy and prayers for the entire family. With love and prayers, Rosanne
