Ana E. Collazo (Annie), age 68, joined her beloved sisters and brother in heaven on January 15, 2022. She is survived by her soul mate and unwavering partner of 43 years, Richard Brown, their two daughters, Rachel Read (Scott Read) and Alyssa Brown, along with her greatest joys in life, her grandchildren, Maddox & Cecelia. Annie was a sister to eight and the world's best Titi to her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Family was her world.

Annie was a loyal friend to countless people, including many who ventured into Wawa during her overnight shifts. Those that knew Annie will remember her unique ability to make them feel special, as if they were the most important person in the world. Annie truly knew how to live: she loved beyond measure; she was the life of every party; and modeled living life to the fullest. She would joke that she was a cat that had nine lives, yet used twelve. She might best be remembered, however, for showing everyone the type of unconditional love they deserved and needed: telling you when you were wrong but loving you anyway, wearing her heart on her sleeve, and loving fiercely. Throughout her fight with cancer, she was a warrior-battling to be with those she loved.

Annie also expressed her love through cooking; she shared food, recipes, and memories with all. Many will remember her laughing, crying, and telling stories at the kitchen table. Annie's only greater passion was conquering cancer. She admired the doctors that helped her, and showed gratitude for the "bonus" years she was granted through God and health care, following her initial diagnosis in 2012.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 10am to 12noon Sunday, January 23, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

For health and safety reasons, the family encourages the wearing of face masks and to practice safe gathering protocols.

Interment is private at the request of the family.

A dedication mass will be scheduled in the future.

Annie was an advocate for cancer screening and research. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie's name may be made to Stand Up to Cancer by visiting https://standuptocancer.org.

Those unable to attend the visitation in person may do so virtually by visiting the link below beginning 10am Sunday:

CandleI remember being a 6-year-old visiting and hanging out at Tia Maria's home with mi Prima Anna. Although she was older than my brother Alvin and me, she seemed to enjoy our company and would always sit to watch TV with us. We celebrated her and my oldest brother Edwin's high school graduation from Woodrow Wilson way back in 1972. It was a very happy occasion; hugs and many pictures were taken with a Kodak Instamatic camara. During my Christmas break in 1980 she gave me a gift which I was surprised and very grateful to receive. It was a nice fancy pen. Anna showed me she had faith in me and knew I would use the pen to sign important things in my future. I signed my first serious job with it. I believe every college student needs faith and encouragement from their family, and Anna gave me that on that Christmas day. Last year during her trip to Florida we spoke on the phone for about an hour. We had 41 years of catching up and we shared many past memories during that conversation. It was funny that several weeks later after returning to Jersey she misdialed my number while she was working in the kitchen and again, we got to talk some more. I'm thankful I was able to have these moments with her, even if it was just on the phone. You will always be in my memories mi Prima Anna. QDEP, Elliot Morales Rodriguez

Titi Anna I can't imagine seeing your name in an obituary. It now reminds me why you and I share the same name. My Mommy loved you unconditionally and I got the pleasure of learning that kind of love for you, myself. Your boldness to speak your mind, encouraged me to do the same. Your freedom to dance and sing, showed us to appreciate every day, regardless the circumstances we're are facing. You never complained. Your continued strength to live, love and laugh is what will keep us smiling. I am confident that you and Mommy are watching over me and interceding for me in heaven, as you both did for me here on earth. I will forever keep your memories in my heart and do your name (that is a part of me) proud. You are so loved and will be missed by many. So until we meet again, Rest Peacefully.

CandleI will forever treasure the phone calls from Titi Nina when she would call me every other week to say Tuti make sure the bathroom is cleaned and your room is cleaned because I’m coming to get you for the weekend! She knew those would always be the terms and conditions from my mom (her sister/bff) in order for me to spend the weekend at her house and it would be the only house she would allow me to stay the entire weekend but with dropping me back off for Sunday service. I will certainly miss hearing you say where’s MY Tuti or how is my Tuti doing or the famous Spanish phrase (Dios te Cuide). Continued prayers for the Brown/Collazo family for strength. We were certainly bless with a great legacy and we shall keep her legacy going. I love you to the moon and back 💜
